Welcome to 2020! A new year and a new decade has begun and there are exciting things happening all around us. Creating a beautifully designed space, surrounding ourselves with things that bring joy and pleasure…what a delightful way to start a fresh, new year.
Here at Living Swell, our philosophy is to tap into what inspires us, beautiful places, thoughtful design and passionate, talented artisans. We are proud to carry handmade lines that are sustainably and ethically made. Giving back and empowering these incredible artisans, some local and some from around the world, makes us all better.
Living Swell is located in historic coastal, Marblehead, Massachusetts. Our home base is a charming and vibrant New England treasure 18 miles north of Boston.
Diana has been tastefully and expertly designing Boston and North Shore interiors for over twenty years. Projects range from large scale developments and residential renovations to bath and kitchen design, including project management, space planning, color consultation and furniture procurement. The retail space was created to expand the scope of Diana’s interior design capabilities and to showcase the artisans we support. We opened in 2017 and our presence and impact on the community is growing. Donna joined us in 2019, with a background in graphic design, advertising, and retail merchandising. Her attention to detail and her passion for beautiful presentations is evident throughout the store. Kristy Karademos joined the Living Swell team as Interior Decorator in 2019. Kristy is organized and forward thinking. She delivers a focused vision on all aspects of each design project. We are lucky to have Leah Veprek and Eleni Sinnis as our dedicated and reliable interns on staff as well. As local students of Marblehead High School, they provide support in the retail space and help keep things running smoothly. Their sales help and enthusiastic assistance on special projects is invaluable.
Grace Perry of Grace Perry Productions has partnered with Living Swell to help bring our unique message to the ever expanding audience on social media. We have created content that interacts and engages our consumers in this intense forum. Her vision and creativity and talent have been key to this important exposure.
